There are people all over the world who are conditioning their bodies outside of the average gym or health club. Whether it’s due to the geographical location of the city, or the culture of the people who live there, we want to explore non traditional styles of exercise all over the world!   Each month we will visit a different city, where we will showcase one business that offers their customers something different when it comes to fitness.  We will also film a new episode and post photo galleries of workouts or tricks on and around noticable land marks from that city.

And, send in your own photos of your own bodyweight workouts around the city where you live!  Each week, we’ll select the best one and feature it on our front page!

I truly believe that our nutrition is just as important as our training.  The food that we take in should be as fresh and minimally processed as possible, and preferably organic.  In each one of our World is Our Playground posts, I’ll review one restaurant that is either organic, self sustainable or that supports local farmers.

My favorite place to chow down in Miami is Metro Organic Bistro.  Metro is Miami’s first organic fine dining restaurant featuring delicious Grass-Fed Organic Beef, Fresh organic produce, and local wild-caught fish.  The menu includes delicacies like the NY Strip Carpaccio, Lamb T-bones and the Ahi Steak Sandwich.  Not to mention you can also have your car washed while you eat, BONUS!

Metro also recycles their food scraps into compost for their garden!  Delicious and conscious!
